class Discuss "forty years in the desert." Inroduce Joshua and Judges.

Thursday, February 22
class Reading quiz. Discuss Joshua nd introduce Judges. Read and take notes on "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly," chapter 8 from The Complete Idiot's Guide to the Bible.

homework Skim over introductory material. Read/mark and study "How the Bible Came to Be" (buff colored handout) and Fr. David's "Where did the Church Get the Bible?" Expect a reading quiz.

Thursday, January 18
class Old Testament pre-test.
homework Begin reading the story of Abraham in Genesis. Read Genesis 11, 27 to 13, 18. That means chapter 11, verse 12 to chapter 13 verse 18. Always be ready for a quiz.

Friday, January 19
class RQ. Return pretests. Jeopardy. Workbook page ix. Time line of Old Testament Salvation History. WB pages 6-7. Third quarter exam question: List and explain five different reasons Christians study the Old Testament.
