(3) Introduce "How to Get and Assigned Reading, the R/M/S method. do this in class on text pages, 7-13.
Homework Correct your mistakes on your practice quiz, in different color ink or box or highlight the correct answwers. Paste R/M/S method on to your folder and follow this method on your homework tonight. R/M/S next section of text, pages 14-22. Always expect a quiz.

Tuesday, August 22
class (1) Begin with Igantius Prayer for Generosity. Know it for the first test. Give out prayer booklets. (2) Check homework and assignment book/Begin spiral notes (3) Begin to set up spiral notebook.
homework (1) Bring home and read handout "Class Guidelines & Expectations" with your paretns. You are expected to know these and let these guide your behavior. Ask any questons tomorrow. (2) Skim "Class of 2010" booklet and let show this to your parents. They were given some of these at the Orientation Day meeting. This a lot of good advice here compiled from people who are here to help you succeed. (3) Look over the course webs site, bookmart and show it to you parents if you did not do this last night.

Homework: Begin
parent interview assignment . First step is merely giving the letter to your parent and setting up a time for the interview. Bring home letter to your parents and give it to them. If there is anything you are uncomfortable with and want to discuss, see me outside of class. Make sure you bring your assignment book to class.

Thursday, August 24

Homework (1) Read cover to pg 13 in Zanzig; be ready for a quiz. Know the key ideas of the text. (2) Find our what this symbol means and why. Where is this on our campus? It will be on tomorrow's practice quiz.
(3) Set a time this weekend for your Parent Interview. Make sure you have one hour alone with your parent undisturbed.

When you do not have any specific homework in a subject, still give 10-15 minutes.
Take care of what you did not do or need to do. Learn what you missed.
Go over and review all you have done and learned.
