V/A - Brewed In Sweden 2 (Blind Beggar Records)

Listen up all streetpunk and Oi! fans in all over the world!!!!
Swedens finest bands have once again united and released a compilation that
will blow your brain out. 15 band are featured, in all of 30 tracks (19
unreleased tracks, 4 tracks can only be found on vinyl = 7 tracks can be
found somewhere else), 77 minutes of what the fuck this is all about. The
bands should need no introducing but here they are: Blisterhead, The
Sluggers, Dims Rebellion, St Laura, The Clockwork Crew, Da Skywalkers,
Agent Bulldogg, Scumbags, Smalltown, Down And Away, Topper, SIC, The
Loiters, Radio 69 and Battlescarred. For you people who bought the first
Brewed In Sweden i say to you. You wont be dissapointed. This issue is
probably even better, our scene have grown even more during the last year
and heres the price of all the work that all people in the scene have
putted down. No track feels weak, not even one feels mediocre. Agent
Bulldogg is singing in swedish again. Giving for me, the TRUE, Bulldogg
sound. Last years upcommers Dims Rebellion wont dissapoint you this year
as well, they still kick ass. The Sluggers from Ume gives the scene a real
kick of aggro streetpunk. Scumbags gives you old style aggro punk.
Battlescarred countinues with their old style Oi! sound. The Clockwork Crew
is here with their unique sound aswell putting some more old style Oi! on
this compilation. Some new acts like Topper , Down And Away and St Laura
wont dissapoint you either. As far as i know they are pretty unknown but
sure know how to play punk like fuck. Tracks like "Once A Punk Always A
Punk"by Topper, "Punks. Inc" by Down And Away and "9 2 5" by St Laura really
wonders why i havent heard of these bands before. And other older
streetpunk and punkrock acts like Radio 69, , Da Skywalkers, Smalltown and
Sic, gives you a real chock of brilliant modern punk tunes - proving that
the swedish scene is really something. The newcommers The Loiters wont
dissapoint you either with slower, singalong, punk sounds about our
lifestyle. And an other new band thats really have made a fast, but damn
good career is Blisterhead and i can just sum them up with one word:
Brilliant. This compilation makes me proud of being swedish, of being
skinhead, of putting so much time into supporting the scene. Of everything.
This is, in my eyes, truly one of the best compilations in streetpunk and
Oi! history. This is THE streetpunk compilation of the year - in all of the
world! And if you dont get it then get the fuck away from our scene. Thanks
thanks THANKS Pike, Blind Beggar and everyone else out there for putting up
a second to the already classic Brewed In Sweden 1 and everyone else out
there making this possible. We Will Never Die!
