| William Ligue Jr. and his dumb-ass, 15-year-old kid | ![]() |
"It's 15 minutes of fame for a no-name guy," is how Tom Gamboa, first-base coach of the Kansas City Royals, described one of his attackers...ok, let's give the no-name guy a name...William Ligue Jr. The best part: this 15 minutes of fame will cost this idiot $200 thousand dollars bond to get out of jail. His low-IQ kid, on the other hand, ain't getting out of jail for cash...he's a juvenile. In other words, the streets of Chicago are currently SAFE!! from these two jackasses. |

| The first thing that comes to mind...what the HELL were these guys thinking? For Christ's sake, they're igniting a situation where the other active participants swing heavy pieces of wood for a living! And said participants utilize pin-point accuracy with these large pieces of wood to hit tiny little balls great distances! One major league baseball player gets more experience with a bat in a single season than Jimmy Hoffa had his whole life! Another thing...this is a sport where both benches get cleared, and a massive rumble ensues, just because a pitcher misses a bean-ball attempt! What, these morons didn't expect an army of white shirts to immediately decent upon their scrawny little asses? The only team member that didn't try to beat the crap out of these two idiots was the team mascot, and that's only because it was an "away" game and the mascot was back in Kansas City enjoying a cold one! For those of you who are worried about Mr. Ligue being in jail, don't. He's been there before, it's like a second home for him. This moron served five months at the tender age of 16. Ten years later he spent another week for domestic battery (perhaps for hitting his kid's mom? It wouldn't surprise me if he was that much of a pussy...) However, it warms my heart to know that, in this day and age, a son can still take after his father. On the other hand, I'll bet Willy is a little pissed that his son is beating the ol' man's record for obtaining a jail sentence. According to this article, Gamboa has been contacted by several lawyers who told him he could get money from the White Sox, but the coach doesn’t plan legal action. “The fault is with the two people who did it,” he said. “I’m not one who looks to place blame. It’s nobody’s fault but the two idiots who did it.” Now folks, THAT is class. And when it comes to labeling someone an "idiot", Mr. Gamboa hit the nail on the proverbial head. |
