MSN Messenger is a really good "instant messaging" program, available for both PC and Mac. Unfortunately, it's not highly "skinable" like WinAMP. All you can basically do is change the background graphic and the audio alerts in Messenger. With this in mind, I created a series of Star Wars skins for Messenger, which includes new background graphics, and specific Star Wars audio files for the alerts. For example, when using the StormTrooper skin and a buddy comes online, you hear, "Look, sir...'droids!" Collect all ten skins, mix and match the audio alerts to you heart's content. Each skin is wrapped in a zip file, and include instructions for making your chosen skin "happen"...

I took a few pictures at Layne Staley's candlight vigil at the International Fountain in Seattle. Quite a few people have visited this page after a Google search, so I thought I would keep it alive for awhile longer. Some might consider it stupid the way he wasted away on drugs, but consider this: he tried to get help, he knew he needed help. And that's not stupid. He simply didn't succeed, that's all.
