A new comedy for the FOX FAMILY CHANNEL starring Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. They portray two Malibu teens dealing with their parents� separation. We follow the girls� lives and adventures both at home and at Ocean View High.

Macy and Josh Carlson (aka Mom and Dad) ran a highly successful fashion design label together for years, until Josh hit his mid-life crisis. In the spirit of "finding himself", he moved out to a trailer which happens to overlook his former Malibu beachfront home. When type-A Mom and laid-back Dad get together on occasion, it�s just like old times...lots of bickering. The girls split time between Mom�s swank beachfront digs and Dad�s cozy but cluttered bohemian trailer. Mom and Dad are helped out by Manuelo - the family�s flamboyant nanny.

Chloe, like her mom, is an assertive overachiever with her eye on Travis, the brooding dreamboat next door. She has no qualms about letting me know how she feels. By contrast, Riley is more like her Dad - laid-back and down to earth. Riley has the misfortune of being hounded by Larry, the over-eager boy from school who has a huge crush on her and will pull any stunt to get her attention. Because Riley is so easygoing and down to earth, getting rid of her overly amorous suitor is not an easy task.

In the midst of it all, the girls' parents keep everyone wondering whether they'll get back together, or remain friends who live to drive each other just a little crazy.

1. Dog Day Afternoon (June 2, 2001)
   Chloe discovers by accident that a dog training book not only works on her new puppy, but also works on training boys! Riley is totally against it, but takes advantage of Chloe's discovery when the short, simple commands end up working on Larry. Macy has to design an incredible dress at the last minute for Tedi to wear at the Billboard Music Awards after the one she initially designed looks too much like the one Madonna wore last year to the Golden Globes. Will Macy put her pride aside and turn to Jake's designing expertise? Will Chloe be successful in training her crush, Travis? See just how creative the Carlson's are in this premiere episode!

2. Siblings and the City (June 2, 2001)
   The Carlsons are invited to a Save the Seals benefit dance. The whole Carlson family needs dates for the dance!

3. The Color of Money (June 9, 2001)
   Larry misappropriates money from the school fund-raiser to buy concert tickets for the girls. As a result, Riley and Chloe must work odd jobs to pay back the school.

4. There's Something About Riley (June 16, 2001)
   Larry asks Tony to talk to Riley on his behalf, but Tony uses the opportunity to romance Riley himself; Macy becomes jealous of Tedi when Tedi shows an interest in Jake.

5. Girls Just Want to Have Fun (June 23, 2001)
   Chloe and Riley decide it�s time to get a social life. No more Friday nights with mom at the mall and the movie theater. No more root beer floats at the ice cream parlor. These girls are ready to party! They launch a plan to get into the coolest party along with a whole new bad girl image. The scene is set for a wild night of sneaking out of the house and sneaking into a private party. There�s only one thing that could stop them... Sleep!

6. You've Got Mail (June 30, 2001)
   Macy gets an email from her high school crush who�s coming to town and wants to meet up. Jake finds the email, gets insanely jealous and decides to spy on them. Meanwhile, Riley and Chloe have community service. Riley and Larry have to clean up the highway and Chloe has to spend time with an 80 year old man in an old age home. Chloe doesn�t like to fail, so after several attempts at befriending the old man, she decides to get him the perfect birthday gift, Tedi!

7. Manuelo in the Middle, Part 1 (July 7, 2001)
   Nothing is more stressful than Career Day at school, especially for the unemployed! The first part of this two parter forces Chloe and Riley to make an important decision - who to pick to come speak at career day! Chloe picks Tedi and Manuelo chooses Riley. To Riley�s surprise, Manuelo turns out to be a big hit when he shows the class how to make a bag, wallet and hat out of an old pair of jeans. The ending isn�t so happy, however, when Manuelo is over-looked for the family photo.

8. Manuelo in the Middle, Part 2 (July 14, 2001)
   After Manuelo leaves the Carlson family after 15 years, the Carlson family are out to look for him.

9. True Lies (July 21, 2001)
   Find out if Riley and Chloe are Martha Stewarts in the making when they are forced to take sewing and cooking classes. The girls, to be awarded for their so-called talents, end up being part of Macy�s interview for a famous magazine. Jake has to help out when Macy freaks out over the interview. The article doesn�t turn out as well as it expected and everyone ends up with frozen body parts and detention! If that isn�t enough, this episode will leave you wondering if Larry is the next Calvin Klein or better yet, the next Jake Carlson.
