1. Features Overview

The Checklist PlugIn for thinkDB 2.0 allows you to maintain a checklist within a
single record in a thinkDB tinyByte. Each checklist may have associated with it
a text label as an identifier.

2. Installation

To install the thinkDB Checklist PlugIn, double-click the ChecklistPlugIn.prc
file. The Palm Install Tool will present a dialog to continue installation.
Alternatively, select Install from within Palm Desktop and choose the
ChecklistPlugIn.prc file.

3. Usage Overview

   a. Setting up a checklist

The Checklist Plugin requires a Text or Memo field in which to store the
Checklist data. For best results, use a Memo field, as the Memo field
allows for greater data storage. In the Field Designer, create a field
of type thinkDB PlugIn. Select the small button to open the Field
Properties dialog. You may optionally set a text field as a text label in
field Label. You must select a field in the List Data field. The
"Results In" field should be the same as the List Data field under most
   normal circumstances.

For best results, do not directly edit the field that is used for List Data.
This could lead to corruption of your Checklist data.

   b. Modifying a Checklist item

In the Checklist Plugin main window, select the small box to the right of an
item to modify that item. This will open the Modify Checklist Item dialog.
From here, you may modify the text of an item, as well as change its Done and
Bold attributes. Additionally, you may delete the item. Note that when
changing the text of an item, you are allowed to add carriage returns, but
these will be converted to spaces once OK is selected.

   c. Adding a Checklist item

In the Checklist Plugin main window, select the drop-down menu and select Add
Checklist Item. Enter the text of the item and, if you choose, the Bold or
Done attributes. Click OK to add the item. It will be added to the end of
your Checklist. Note that new items may not contain newline characters. The
character is accepted, but is converted to a space when OK is pressed.
