Well last night was our opening night at Geraldton City Speedway, and all divisions put on a top show but I have just got to comment on a couple of drivers first up junior new stars Jess Hall stand up girl you where amazing 4 starts and 4 wins and in the feature lapped all but 2nd place, with new drivers with developing talent such as what Jess showed our sport is just going to keep going from strength to strength, top effort. And the three street stock drivers in messrs Wynch, Wynne and Beaver, awesome guys just plain awesome.
Now to my efforts the ole taxi, she went well, first heat Ryley Fenner and myself went at it for for the full race with Warrick Hammond hard on our heals, results Fenner 1st Myself 2nd Hammond 3rd and the much improving Deb Hall 4th.
Second heat, Myself 1st, Hammond 2nd, Hall 3rd Fenner 4th
Third heat , Myself 1st, Fenner 2nd, Hall 3rd, Hammond 4th.
Feature, Myself 1st, Hall 2nd,With Hammond and Fenner non finishers after a tyre blowout each.
So now we will wait till the 25/10/08 till our next meeting which will be the Street Stock Shootout, rumour has it that the Oldfield, Nudge, Amato show will be in town if you are going to come out to the Speedway only once this season, make it out for this one, it will be huge!!!
