PAGE TWO.
Now that youve made it past the first page...

Yes, those are my teeth.
Oh wait, no they arent.
wwaaaiiitt......

You are now being forced to read the story of The Love-Butter Connection

That is, of course, unless you choose not to.
     The Love-Butter Connection are
Marshall Dunn - guitars, drums on occasion, a few vocals
Wil King - drums, guitars, bass, more vocals
Jerry Joyner - trumpet, keyboard, organ, some drums, a few vocals, you know...whatever
            Scoot Vines - stand-in bassist

The Love-Butter Connection was formerly
            The Elements
                   Who were
                           Marshall Dunn - guitars
                           Will King - drums, vocals
                           Mark Pinckard - bass, vocals

The Elements were formed from the ashes of a crashing-and-burning band called Nope.
Mark joined the band.

The Elements enjoyed a moderate amount of success...although no amount of fame really mattered because it was just plain fun making great music.

Bad news is best taken as if it was nasty medicine...quickly...so read fast and pay attention.  You dont want to read it again.

Mark was involved in a bad wreck on May 20, 2002, two days after an Elements gig.  He was hit in his suburban by a log truck and died a few hours later from injuries caused by the accident.

We let Mark keep the name of the band cause it was mostly his idea.  Although we all thought it was a great name Will and I found it appropriate to let it go.  After a break from music we eventually were able to reform our band with a trumpet player and of course without bass.  Thanks to Will's inner ear problems, his pain medication inspired the name The Love-Butter Connection.  As in the connection between love and butter.  We recorded about six songs using a groovy four track recorder, recording all the major instruments first and then going back to fill in the bass.  We are anticipating our first show as the LBC in early october, so we recruited my cousin Scoot to fill in the bass parts.  Thats about it.  Be at musicfest in El Dorado...you will see or hear us there.
