This photo was taken at Phratat Doisuthep,Chiangmai. This place is the most famous and well-known for many tourists including internal and foreign people. The word 'Doi' in 'Doisuthep' refers to mountain or hill. Of course, It places on the mountain that the temperature always quite cool all over the year. People are able to choose to go up by the long ladder (as you see in the pic) or by cabin. The later one you have to pay but it's very cheap but useful for old man.

You might suspect what is at the left and right head of ladder. It look like they are alive. Don't be afraid it. They are holy animals from legend and we call it 'Phra Yah Nak'. They have important role to protect Buddhism. Many people believes that they are holy and powerful, and always make a wish what they expected.

Look at me! am I smiling? I am not sure about that. The photo is from Chiangrai. At the background of my photo is the temple, but I have to apologize you because I don't remember the name. This temple is different from the other not only it's color but also the details. Most of temples always have gold tone color but this is purely white. The temple designer is a well-known artist, Chalermchai Kositpipat. He is a Thai art drawer. He crated many work that is strange from the other. He has a special talent and createness. Both made him to be a master of Thai art. By this reason, this temple is more special than the other.

This place is uncompleted construction because it must be decorated at the detail a lot. The temple is not too far from Chaingrai city. Don't miss it, I am sure that you will impress it.
