i really like your website! i learned so many of the kinds of things i am interested in learning so quickly on your site. i have read all of trophies and still learned so much here. it is really great to know that others all over the world feel what i do bout david sylvian's music. i am old enough that i was on the scene in the 80's and it is so amazing to me that this music is so timeless.it has literally been the soundtrack for my adult life. it holds such a dear place in my life that i can not even beg n to put into words the feelings. i enjoyed your comments about "dead bees" and also saw sakamoto here in san francisco in concert. i got him to sign my 12" vinyl copy of "forbidden colours" (now just need david to sign it!) and talked to an assistant who said david was to going to attend the s.f.show but was busy in the studio. needless to say i was very disappointed as i have never met david, even though he has lived in napa for the past 3 years or so. it has been really strange knowing that he lives so earby- and i visit napa a lot. websites like yours help keep me informed- (like finding out he has moved again). i envy you having seen "slowfire" as i have never seen sylvian in concert and that is my dream. for the sakamoto concert, i prepared a letter nd card to give to david if the opportunity presented itself- i had never previously attempted to contact him. i sent it to his management address in london- hope he received it. although the chance to meet david sylvian and tell him in person what his wo ks mean to me is a dream i have- i take equal satisfaction just in reading other fan's feelings and knowing i am not alone. hope you enjoy my comments and keep up the great work!! thank you for your time.

Am I the only one who can't believe the prices for all the so-called rare Sylvian items! My Perspectives, Weatherbox and all the other box-sets are in mint condition, and yet there were buckets of them when they came out - I remember Weatherbox being piled high in the Virgin Megastore in Oxford St. It can't be worth �150! Still nice site and David's still top man. Do buy the Nick Drake Albums though - fantastic!

Japan and David's music has always been very haunting and exciting that even today when you hear Quiet life or ghost's it makes you shiver.Best albums have to be 'Gentlemen take polaroids',Tin Drum and 'Brilliant Trees'. I have always been a fan but have ot ketp in touch with where they are today until now that i am on the web. I thought that i would see if there was any information on David as i often wondered what happened to him, also there was a programme on the top 10 new romantic bands of the 80's o Channel 4 and Japan was one of them and this sparked my interest again.
