| July 15, 2002- Well, got back from my white water rafting adventure. I had a blast!!! It was the most fun I've had all summer. It's definetly not for anyone that get's easily scared, but I'd recoment it to everyone else. Granted I came home with a few new scars, but it was still one of the best things I've ever done. Although it still falls short from sky diving. I was so happy that I got to spend the weekend with Christine. It's been a while since I've been with a good friend, and she's the best. I'm just sad she couldn't stay any longer, but we both have classes to go to so she had to get back down to Virginia. I miss her already. Too bad I never got up enough courage to ask her out in high school. She's one of those people I hope I'll be friends with forever. Well, now that my fun weekend is over it's back to work tomorrow. I have to change the engine coolant in my car...no fun. I noticed that my engine temp. got pretty high today while I was driving and that kinda bugged me. When I got home I opened up the hood and was shocked to find how low (and dirty) the anti-freeze was. So that's number one on my list of things to do. Number two is finish mowing the grass. My dad was kind enough to leave me half of the yard to do when I got back from camping. How nice of him. Once I'm done with all that I have to crack down on the books before class starts. Not only do I have homework to finish, but I also have a test to study for. Maybe if I'm ambitious enough I'll do the homework tonight when I'm done writing this. But then again, I am pretty tired. And they say a good night's sleep is essential to doing well on a test the next day. So I guess I'd better get busy on some quality sleep. Bye. |
