After I bought the car in 2003, I had a co-worker at the Ford dealership I worked at start to straighten out all the minor imperfections in
the body. That job escalated into shaving the door handles and gas tank door. Those projects were never completed because I
decided to have the cage work done. After reading the NHRA rulebook, I realized I needed door handles on both doors--hence the white
pass side door. I also replaced the left fender because it wasn't OE and the fit was crappy too. The rear wheel wells have been
trimmed for tire clearance, but not finished.
The car is currently in Las Vegas, Nevada.
All the chasis work was performed by Andy McCoy Race Cars in St. Louis, Missouri.
