After I finished my primary school and high school, I went to University of Electronic Science and Technology of Xi�an. Can you guess what is my major? Computer Engineering! The reason why I chose it is because I was so eager to learn how computer works when I was 14. But my parents wish me to go to medical school to be a doctor. So I had a big fight with them.
University of Electronic Science and Technology of Xi�an is at Xi'an which is one of the famous cities in China, also in the world. I spent eight years there to get my bachelor and master degree in Computer Engneering. Thus, I should say Xi'an is my second hometown. I was a very good student at those years. I even didn't take the entrance exams to go to graduate school.
After I got my bachelor degree, I worked as a full time instructor at University of Electronic Science and Technology of Xi�an. I did learn a lot from my experiences. Two years later I began to persue my master degree. In order to get some industry experience, I became an engineer at Beijing Telecomm after two and half years graduate study. It was a great work experience I ever had. I miss those days a lot.
Now I'm a student again -- at School of Computer Science, Telecommunication & Information Systems (CTI), DePaul University for a M.S. degree. You might wonder why. That's quite simple -- The more you learn, the more you feel you need to learn! I enjoy my student life here -- homework, projects, midterms, finals...... I like work hard and get something from it.
I am going to graduate at July, 2001. There's still half year away for me to graduate. I think I'll be a software engineer for network programming, java programming, database programming. My dream is work on software, live with my dear husband and my lovely son, Vincent.
