Chad's 1995 Camaro Z-28 Page
This is my 95 Chevy Camaro Z-28 that I purchased in March, 2002. The car has an LT1 5.7L engine and a T-56 6- speed transmission. The engine is mostly stock with a few intake and exhaust mods.
Shortly after aquiring the car I completed an intallation of a full line of BMR performance suspension components and Eibach springs. I also intalled a complete audio system made up of mostly Alpine components. Other highlights include Moser 12-bolt rearend, HD alumnium driveshaft, and shaved body with remote door poppers.

CURRENT NEWS:
4-23-04: FIRST DYNO RUN!!!: This past thursday at UTI, my car was selected to run on student dyno day in my Hot Rod U class. This was my car's maiden dyno run, and with a captive audience my car made 3 third-gear pulls on the Dynojet. My third pull yielded the highest numbers, with max values of 260.4 Horsepower and 272.7 lb./ft Torque at the rear wheels. This translates to around 314 HORSEPOWER and 328 lb/ft TORQUE at the engine/ flywheel (figuring 17% drivetrain power loss). I was satisfied with this run, as my engine mods are currently only cold air, hypertech tuning, and a muffler. All three dyno graphs show very clean, smooth pulls. The torque curves were table-top flat above 270 lb/ft between 2500 and 5000 RPM. And, all my suspension and 4.11 gears put all that torque to the ground with authority.
CAR FOR SALE: I've owned this car for 5 years, purchased it in 2002 with 111k and have only put 24k miles since. I've always changed the oil every 3000 miles with only full synthetic, have replaced the fuel and air filters (K&N filter with cold air intake), flushed the coolant, manual trans fluid, and brake fluid every 2 years, replaced the tires (still have around 80% tread), replaced/upgraded the entire rear suspension and rear axle with top quality aftermarket parts that now have only around 15k miles on them, and replaced both front and rear brakes around 10k miles ago. The engine runs very strong for the mileage, I ran a computerized engine compression test at UTI which showed even compression across all 8 cylinders- all cylinders strong at around 95%.  The engine doesn't burn any oil or have any exhaust smoke during hard acceleration, this LT1 V8 is still running strong! See the list of parts below for all mods/parts, this car is a fast street car that pulls hard with it's 6speed and 4.11 geared rear axle combined with a strong torque curve.
