Punk + Goth = EMO?
Are you hated by many? Loved by few? Life got you down? Making enemies by the minute? Picking fights by day Slitting your wrists by night? Then please read on because this could help you on your way to recovery... Thanks to Australia being a democracy and having freedom of speech i have decided to submit a report on Punks, Emo's and Goths. We will start by seeing the dictionary meaning for these three groups.
Punk: Ayoung person, especially a member of a rebellious counterculture group, "An inexperienced young man", a young man who is a sexual partner of an older man or dry decaying wood, used as tinder.
Now a look at gothic: Of or relating to an architectural style prevalent in western Europe from the 12th through the 15th century and characterised by pointed arches, rib vaulting, and a developing emphasis on verticuality and the impression of height.
These groups are usually thought of as anti social, different, fags, KKK or "Dark Lords". Emo's are known as emotional. The word Emo origanated in the 1900's when punks started to turn gothic but instead just got depressed so theirin between a Punk and a Gothic. If you have one running around your suberb call the Emo chatchers free hotline on 13 23 48. Any Emo's, Punks or goths not claimed after a period of two weeks will be put down.
How do you tell if you are one of these groups you might ask? I have taken the liberty of making a list of each group and rating them. Add these up and see were you are on the emo-metre: 1 is ok, 5 is well on your way to becoming and 10 is you already there.
