For this Book Club meeting, several of us chose short stories and led the discussions on each.

The Canterville Ghost

Bret chose this story, which is a witty spin on the classic ghost story.

The Blue Bottle

Andrea chose this story, which is about treasure hunters on Mars in search of the mysterious blue bottle, said to grant the wishes of those who drink from it.

The Story of a Panic
By E.M.Forster
Diane chose this story, which depicts the mysterious and perhaps supernatural experience of a group of English picnickers in an Italian countryside.

Sorry Fugu
By T.C. Boyle
Reka chose this story, which submerges the reader in the subductive world of food from the perspective of an aspiring chef who encounters the most feared of food critics.

The Daemon Lover
By Shirley Jackson
Chris chose this story, which follows a panicked bride-to-be as she searches for her fiance on her wedding day.
