At last, Jesus fans now have a very special friend to sit right next to their Prince Adam doll and their Eternia playset. Here it is, the holy grail of action figures. I garauntee that you will never find this in any toy store. He is "Lord of All: Jesus" and is well articulated. He comes with a bowl of 5 loaves, 2 fish, and a nifty choking hazard tag. When I play with him I say "warning, jesus may choke you!". |

Here's an oldie but goodie. Back in 1989, Fleer released the infamous Bill Ripken "Fuck Face" basesball card. Fleer claimed that it was a mistake they did not catch by the time the card was printed. Bill stated that it was a practical joke his team mates played on him. I saw it as a publicity stunt in attempt for Fleer to sell more cards. In any case, the card saw 3 later variations in attempt to supposively correct the situation. Apparently, those variations eventually became even more desirable due to their scarcity, hence more publicity and profits for the Fleer company. |

The original Return of the Jedi figure line surfaced in 1984 with a handful of Jabba's palace creatures. These characters appeared in the movie for maybe a tenth of a second. Well, in any case, it became a good excuse to make some strange creatures such as Amanaman. This figure included his 3 skulled staff, nice detail, and great articulation. Legend has it that if you rotate his tail around front and position his uniquely shaped left hand into a certain position, you get a naughty action figure doing some strange things with himself. The thing that i found unique about this piece is that his left hand is mysteriously molded with a hole in it to nicely fit his tail. |

Back in the 70's Pez produced a life sized James Bond-esque pistol dispenser. In order to operate this gadget, you had to load pez in the clip in the handle and then pull the trigger. Oh yeh, being that you eat pez, you had to point the end of the barrel in your mouth. Well, in any case, these were banned because they resembled real guns and I guess the appeal of children pointing a gun in their mouth and pulling the trigger sorta wore off.
Another toy that resembled a real gun was Transformers Generation 1 Megatron. However, this didn't see any controversy. Ah, there's something about kids and guns that were meant to be. |

Here is dreamy fake cheese! Apparently the Halloween Adventure Shop sells two things; costumes and fake cheese!! Well in any case, legend has it that the store has had 2 of these in stock ever since the store originated about 10 years ago, and guess who snagged BOTH of 'em up??? The accumulation of price mark-ups on this treasure was enough to convince me to rush out and purchase both of them. Let's see, this fake cheese once sold for $9.99! So what can one do with this? The possibilities are endless. |
