Speaking of mountains...
A Shau Valley...May 68.
We made our way to the top of this mountain....
hacked out this little one ship LZ.....
named it LZ Peters ( in honor of the 1st Plt.leader)...
waited for resupply.....
got socked in, like the mountain in the back...
and waited for three days and four nights....
without food or water.
Today it cleared up and we popped smoke so a chopper could land.
We dubbed this mountain....
"Starvation Hill"
