The Duncan McRae & Catherine Cameron Farm
Duncan McRae arrived in Eau Claire, Wisconsin in the 1860's. He bought his land in
Brunswick Township (T26 R10 S21) and returned home to Glengarry County, Ontario to marry
Catherine Cameron in July of 1870.
The McRae home was supposedly moved from Porter's Mill in Eau Claire. It had a summer kitchen outside and my father remembers his aunts working the creamer, whose silver pot we found while visiting the farm ruins in October, 1991.
