My Letter from Michael Jackson
I received this letter in 1986, after having sent Michael a copy of a "Three Stooges" marathon which aired in New York. I was working for a company called Video Monitoring Services, which sold video clips from television shows. His production company had sent an order for the show, but VMS had not recorded it...however, being a lifelong Three Stooges fan, I had taped it for myself anyway! What a fortunate coincidence! So I called Michael's secretary (she had placed the order), and explained my connection to Michael, and sent the tape with a letter to him asking if he remembered me. A few weeks later, I received this letter...it didn't say that he remembered me, but it was still a very special gift...and a week before Christmas, too!
