Benjamin MANN

Joined the U.S. Army about 1821.


John SLOCOMB

He remained loyal to the King and so removed to Nova Scotia to avoid being drafted into the C ontinential Army.


George SLOCOMB

He was a soldier in the Revolutionary War, serving under Capt. Georgr Bacheller and Col. Tyle r in Rhode Island in the year 1780. They resided in Medway, Norfolk, MA until 1796 when the y removed to Shrewsbury, Worcester, MA where he farmed and ran a tavern-stand.


William SLOCOMB

Soldier in the Revolutionary War, serving at Providence and Warwick, RI in 1776. He receive d a pension for his service. Removed from Franklin (formerly part of Wrentham) to Sutton, Wo rcester, MA in 1784.


Simon SLOCOMB

In 1780 he was a soldier, from Holliston, in Capt. Amos Ellison's Company in the 4th Regimen t under Maj. Seth Bullard, for service in Tiverton. They removed to a farm in Bellingham, No rflk, MA.


Esther SLOCOMB

Died age four.


Mary SLOCOMB

Died young.


John SLOCOMBE

Blake in "History of Franklin Township" thinks John was a brother of Simon Slocombs. He join ed the church at Franklin on 10 feb 1754. He was a weaver. He lived with his son George i n Shrewsbury, MA in later life.

She joined the church in Franklin on 24 Feb 1754.
