Added BAD-UN.TO (Badger Income Fund, which has very little debt, has made 3 distribution increases in the last 12 months and looks good for the future), TAH.TO (Tahera Diamond Corp, previously-mentioned.) and LQW.TO (Liquidation World) , which is still expanding and improving their business.Take a look at the financials for these companies by clicking on their names.
After having followed Tahera Diamond for more than 2 years, I have come to the conclusion that this company will likely have difficult times for a long while, and have sold out my position in this stock at a significant loss. My previous recommendations to invest in income trusts are re-iterated here since the income performance of these has been very good with high returns. The market value of some of these may be depressed at present, but this is a good time to accumulate more units. Boston Pizza Royalty Income Fund has just increased it's distribution again (has done this many times since IPO). Badger Income Fund has had a very good year, showing increased profit from their operations year over year, and has maintained good distributions throughout.
I continue to rate Sentry Select Diversified Income Trust and Canwel Building Materials Income Fund very highly and hold positions in both of these as they meet my requirements for high return and stable distributions over several years. Cominar Real Estate Investment Trust has recently reported excellent Q1 results, and has increased its distributions once more.
