| This "Tillamook Bay" map will be unique in that it will have a vinyl water-proof sleve that fits into a pocket (folded = 5" x 3 1/2") and the map opens out to a nice size of 21" x 25". It will have a full color background showing the mountains and valleys. It will show the depths of the different points in the bay at an average low tide. Also highways, roads, rivers, lakes, cities (with a breakdown of the city roads) and points of interest along the Tillamook Bay. The map is based on an USGS, ODOT and NOS files and full color DEM relief background. The Tillamook Bay area runs from Oceanside up highway 101 to Barview. Yet on the backside of the map we will give information on many of the local businesses and little towns on up thru Rockaway Beach and Wheeler. There are some discounts for your convienence. The cover has a beautiful color photo of the "Graces" (the rocks along hwy 101 at mile post 55 with a small tree growing from one). We have been told that this is a much needed map for recreational purposes and our visitors enjoyment. Three thousand of these will be printed in February of 2004. They will be sold up and down the Oregon Coast and many other places throughout Oregon. Many businesses in Tillamook County will have them available for your enjoyment and convienence. This map was created by a local cartographer with many years of experience in mapping. |
