| Homework |
| Your child does have homework every night. It is to read at least a 1/2 hour. This can be a book of their choice or can be a story that you read to them. |
| Weekly Homework |

| Each student has their personal words. Tuesday- Write the words two time each. Wednesday- choose 5 words and write a sentence for each word you chose. Thursday- Have someone call the words out to you for a practice test. |
| A weekly homework log goes home on Mondays to let you know what homework your child will have for the week. The spelling list is put on the webpage to let you know the words in case your list is lost. Each student has 8 words that consist of the the word family that we are studying. Then each student has two personal words that are their own. |
| Homework Log: Monday: Theme homework- usually something based on the theme that we are studying for the week. Tuesday: Spelling list, sight vocabulary words and reading bags go home. Wednesday: Spelling sentences and Math homework. Thursday: Study for spelling test. Friday: Reading journal goes home. |
