Biography/Facts
Nathan "Joey" Jordison is 25 years old & lives in his native Des Moines,Iowa. He has long black hair & vivid red streaks. He was one of the original members of Slipknot & was 18 or 19 when he joined. Although he is very friendly & talkative Joey is one of the most aggressive,fastest,& best drummers today. Joey's mask is the white Kabuki mask which now has black lines on it to show the scars in his life & is #1. He lovingly refers to Slipknot fans as maggots. Joey actually wrote the lyrics to "Scissors," which is one of my fav. SK songs. =o) Joey is also the smallest in SK but shows size doesn't matter when he starts playing. His favorite band is KISS & his first concert was a KISS concert. Joey was voted fifth best drummer in a magazine but he deserves numero uno! He also posed nude for Kerrang! after a SK show with a mask covering his *cough*. You can hear Joey at his best on ALL SK songs but especially on Surfacing,Eeyore,& Get This.

Some of his other fav. bands are Venom, The Melvins, & Black Sabbath.
Joey played guitar before drums.
Joey helped to write some of the guitar parts on Slipknot's album.
Joey, along with everyone else in Slipknot, is completely drug-free.
