Videographer Denaise Seals' DANCE HERE! will be on exhibit at Dance Place, Washington, DC March 1 thru 31st 2001.
The multimedia installation is comprised of a continuous playing video presentation of site-specific dance works, a video camera, TV monitors and an invitation to dance.
The exhibit also includes original music composed by Jazz musician Richard Seals, 2D and 3D images portraying dance in unusual places and edited excerpts of gallery visitors' physical response to the X on the floor marked DANCE HERE!

The installation and correlating web site "When I Dance" are part of Slingshot Video's Spontaneous Dance Series.
