Hey Everybody! Although I put this site together myself, it's replacement is being constructed. Here's a bit about me... I'm 19 years Old. Someday a picture of my 5 speed sports-car is going to be linked to this page, but until then i'll save your time and my web-space by not picturing my highly beautiful black Topaz. Its a beauty though, oh yes. Got those electric seat-belts that don't work sometimes and manual windows that lock up in the winter. One good thing is that if you put the sterio up loud enough you likely won't even be able to hear my engine chugging or muffler falling off. Might even cover the brake-squeak.....mostly joking....

mike is a really cool guy with an attitude  who used to work @ walgreens, though now he works at Oliver Products Company as a network administrator intern. Check here's his picture

check out www.geocities.com/slingshotmike for your chance to play mike's very own poker dice. (this is really an advertisement) No, Seriusly... my bud Tim and I wrote this game of "Yahtzee". (called Poker-dice because of copy right laws). Of course if you try to play and it doesn't pop up, it means one of 10 things. (binary). Either your machine is a piece or you just forgot to install java runtime environment which i fail to understand each and every time I try. Seriously and you thought solitaire was fun, this game blows it away.

So I currently attend Grand Valley State University as a 2nd year Information Systems student. To me, playing with computers is about as fun as it gets. Sometimes its hard to believe that people are willing to pay me to do what I consider playing. I love exploring different operating systems, such as Mac OS-X, Fedora Core and Redhat, Mandrake linux and of course anything Windows Based. I can program efficiently in Java and have learned the basic's of Assembly, 32 Bit. I love connecting computers up for remote access, network use, file sharing, and any new challenges that sound interesting. I'm always interested in new technology, and lately am quite fond of Mac OS X panther, because of its extrordinary ease of use and very reliable wireless technology. I often find myself repairing computers, and though it started off as a self taught hobby, I often find myself doubling my income by providing support to people who need computer help. I'll replace any part of a computer, be it a hard-drive, processor, heatsink, video card, motherboard or anything else that might go bad or need upgrading. I'll never turn down a chance to build a computer, and lately, 95% of the support I do for people involves purging a system of spy-ware. It is my goal to get a website up in the next few months that will teach computer owners how to maintain a clean computer and how to monitor viruses and spyware. I am currently looking into buying an IBM AS400 iSeries midrange computer for experimental networking.
