The Celtic Poem
Celtic were Founded in 1888,
When they opened the golden gate.
This gate has lead to great success,
Throughout the world we are the best.
Our best season in 1967,
The players were in heaven.
That’s because we won the European cup,
Then our rankings went up & up.
Our famous rivals are the Rangers,
But they bring us no such dangers.
Since we beat them 7 – 1,
It’s now all said & done.
Were here to make history,
But at the moment it’s a mystery.
Because who will win all ten?
It’s just got to be the green & white men.
In 1998 we won the cup & League,
We left Rangers good indeed.
It was the first time within ten years,
But it was worth all the shouts and cheers.
