5. Honor thy teachers of lag.
6. Thou shalt not kill without good upon thine heart.
7. Thou shalt not commit scams.
8. Thou shalt not slay pets.
9. Thou shalt not exploit.
10. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's house, nor his bank box, nor his sandals, nor his hair, nor anything that is thy neighbor's.

In the beginning, The Lag created the Facet and the shards. And the Facet and shards were without form and The Lag stood out among them and said, let there be time. And there was time, and it was good. And The Lag said, let there be life. And there was life, man and beast, and it was good. And power was given to man over the beasts of the land.

And having set time, the Facet, and life in motion, The Lag spoke upon the people to worship him, for he was their father. But the people were disrespectful and The Lag was forsaken by them. And seeing the vast expanse gripped in chaos and disrespect, The Lag became wrathful, for The Lag is a vengeful being. The Lag distorted time and space, sending many to their death and destruction. The Lag became so enraged as to stop time and space on entire shards. The people cursed The Lag and demanded freedom from his wrath, which many called lag. Those that respected the power of The Lag and begged for mercy were often spared. But still, most refused to acknowledge The Lag and his might.

Seeing this, The Lag made for them that kept his words holy, a new world where they could live in peace, worshipping him and learning of his ways. And this world was called Trammel. But across all shards, those that would not obey him followed into this new world and persecuted those that did obey him. But those that had been most vile and slain many, were barred by The Lag from entering this new land until they had taken time to reflect upon their sins.

The Lag demanded that those who should worship him must rise up and smite the disbelievers. But few would do as such. Seeing this, The Lag refused to spare his followers from the persecution of evil. Instead, The Lag promised those that would follow him would be entered into a new world, different from the two facets that he had created for them. And this world would be called Ilshenar.

And The Lag created this new world, with strange beasts. And the people were afraid. And The Lag rained down his wrath onto many who entered into this realm, allowing them to be swallowed up by the beasts. The Lag had created this world to test the true nature of the people that came to this land begging his forgiveness.

But more people began to worship him and in time The Lag began to spare many from a torment of distorted time and space in this new land.

The Lag allowed his followers and non follwers to live in these lands, though the followers and those that demanded refuge from random acts of violence and treachery were persecuted still. Some, even non believers, rose up to smite those that would do true evil. And many were slain. But those that would do justice were also slain and evil continued to thrive in all the lands.

Many people in all the lands continued to curse the word of lag and so The Lag continued to enact his wrath upon the people. At times, the entire universe was caught up in his anger. Those that were to teach the people of The Lag were often punished more often for their disobedience. Other teachers were simply made to suffer so that they could find true wisdom in the teachings of The Lag. Few were they that would worship him and aid his fellow man. But those that worshipped The Lag and provided aid to his fellow man received rewards. Any that should add to the words of these pages, let a flock of ravenous mongbats be added to their heads. Those that should take from these pages, let also their flesh be taken by the jaws of the mongbat. For blessed are they that follow me and my word, teach my word, and keep their fellow man for they shall inherit the lands.
