"Hitomi, comon." Van held out his hand. The blinding light was already making him float upwards. He held out his hand before it was too late. He was confused why Hitomi held back, they had talked about it already, she said that she never wanted to be away from him ever again. But if she doesn't come with him then this time they'll forever be apart! "Hitomi! What are you waiting for! Comon!" Millerna and Allen were already vanishing for they went before Van. He looked at Hitomi, he understood.
She couldn't, she just couldn't. She really never ever wanted to be seperated with him ever again! But.....but.....she just couldn't! She can't! This was her place, her life, her fate! She watched as Van started to float upwards. His outstretched hand infront of her. At first she was about to stretch her hand forward. Then on second thought, she just couldn't. She couldn't bare to leave her world and family behind. Then she would be leaving her love of her life! She was confused. She couldn't...she backed away slowly from Van's outstretched hand.
Van watched as she backed away. Their minds linked. He felt it. She was afraid. He was 6ft up in the air already. It was her last chance if she wanted to come, he searched in her heart. The horrible yet solid answer was, "Sorry." He fumed. How could she do this to him!!!!!!
Hitomi saw the angry look on her love's face. "Sorry!" she called up. It was too late he was shooting up fast into the sky....back to Ghea. The collum of light dissappeared into a twinkling star in the sky...like a shooting star. Tears formed in her eyes and dropped onto the ground, something glinted...she then saw her pendent her grandmother gave her that she gave Van. It was lying there on the ground, as if waiting impatiently for someone to claim it. She slowly knelt down and picked the pendent up with her numb fingers. She looked at sky and held the pendent close to her heart. With all her heart she wanted to be with him, but she couldn't. "Van, please forgive me....."
