Chapter 7~ Another Chance

    "Queen Mya would like to see you Majesty." Announced hot-faced grandpa Brek (who is Van's close servant) in an amusing way for it seemed like he was trying to imitate the way Queen Mya usually speaks.

    Van wanted to growl but the imitation was just so amusing that he smiled. "Didn't you hear what I announced a week ago? That I didn't want to see her anymore? Now off, I've got these papers to go through." Van stated harshly, the thought of sleeping with her was a nightmare and her name just brings those 'nightmares' back.

    "That was exactly what I tried to tell her!...." Brek was interuppted by the shoutings outside Van's study.....

......"Let me inside! I AM THE QUEEN! How dare you not let me through!"...."Sorry my Lady but I was ordered...." "I don't care what you were ordered to do! Now let me through or I will....".......

    "Or what will you do?" Van's stone-cold voice sent chills up the spines to all that were present. When Queen Mya focused her eyes on her 'dear' husband, he was ever so handsome. Leaning against the doorway to his study...he was ever so handsome yet ever so cruel.

    Queen Mya curtised and said, "Your Majesty may I please have a word with you?"

    "What makes you think I want to have a word with you?" the stone-cold voice was so cold...that it was frightening....but Queen Mya went on. "Please, I...I need...I really need to..to...speak to you...please give me a chance...." Her eyes were swelling up with tears.

    Allen who was also present thought he saw a flash of pity through the King's eyes...but maybe he was imagining it. "Comon Van...give her a chance...after all she deserves it!" Allen chided. Van did not answer but looked at Queen Mya then walked by into his study. Allen smiled, "I knew that somehow you aren't all cold in there...there is still chance for you to be warmed again..." he thought. Allen turned his head from Van's back for he was looking out the window in his study to Queen Mya who was sobbing pitifully on the hallway.."why is she crying?" thought Allen.

    "Why are you crying Queen Mya? You've better go in or the King might lose his patience." Allen said, sort of worried that if this slow-poke don't hurry then Van would get pissed off. "He just left and...and (sob)...he is so...(sob)...cruel...to (sob) ...(sniff)...to mee..ee(sniff/sob)." Cried Queen Mya. "No no! You've got it mistaken! He just allowed you....oh just go in!....and wipe your eyes or he'll be even more annoyed than he already is..." Allen urshured Queen Mya in and just felt so sorry for the poor girl.

    "I give you 5 mintues for I have ...(waving to his desk) as you can see a lot of papers to go through. What is wrong? Do you want more money to buy more dresses? There isn't any party coming up soon you know...infact none is planned for the next year either. Do you want to go somewhere? I would advise you not for your reputation....." Van was interuppted by a loud sob and knew that he was pushing the button a little to hard there.... "Okay go on and tell me what you want."

    "Van, please give me another chance! I know I can do it this time! I won't go horse-riding this time, I won't go running in the gardens, I promise I won't do anything that will hurt the baby!" Cried Mya. Van looked at her, extremly, terribly, totally disgusted with the idea. "I gave you two chances already. I cannot bear it, no." Van stated, he looked out the window at the darkening sky...it has started to rain....:

Flashback

    Hitomi was in Allen's arms....they were kissing...He looked up at her...their eyes met....she gasped...he ran...

    "I have asked Hitomi to marry me." Allen said. "You know she means nothing to me." Replied Van, "but take good care of her." "I will" replied Allen....

End of Flashback

    "Van...Majesty...are you there?" asked Mya. Van ran his hand through his hair...'oh! how memories can hurt!' he thought. Van turned and looked at Mya. She was beautiful, yet not Hitomi....maybe he should give her another chance..maybe she deserved it...

    "Van, will you please give me another chance? please?" A sob escaped her red lips as she looked up into his unemotional face. She turned, ready to leave. He had resumed back to looking out the window. She walked to the doorway of the study and looked back again at him. She turned her head and was ready to step out the door when he said something. Or at least she thought she heard him say something. "I said okay." Van's cold voice was unquavering.

    11/2/20~ Fanalia Castle

    He has given me another chance. My sobbing and crying sure helped a lot. It's not like I did it on purpose but I exaggerated, I surely must admit that. This time I will stay healthy and I WILL have a baby. Then after that I will coaxed him to take over Castilla. I am sure by then he will listen to me and come to love me. Then I will kill father and Elen with my own bare hands. Ah! I can already feel victory! Nothing will stop me winning this time! NOTHING!

    Queen Mya placed her diary back into the desk. She looked out the window and smiled. Nothing will stop her, what can? She will get them all. All who opposed her. She will then have a place and rule powerfully by her husband who will then love her. 'I WILL WIN, WHAT CAN STOP ME?' She smiled...a victory smile.

    "Um...mom?"

    "Yes babe?"

    "Where are we heading?" asked Vron. It was raining and it was miserable in this forest.

    "I don't know." Answered Hitomi.

    "What the fuck!" shouted Vron, scaring a few birds away.

    "Hey! Where the fuck did you learn that word!" Shouted Hitomi at Vron.

    "School." replied Varie for Vron.

    "But mom! You just said fuck too! Why are you yelling at me?" shouted a hot-cheeked Vron.

    "Well, you started first!" said Varie who was ever so loyal to her mother.

    "Okay, lets stop this." Said Hitomi.

    "Um...mom?"

    "Yes Vron?"

    "So where are we actually going?"

    "I said I don't know!" Hitomi was losing her patience with the little 'prince'.

    "Mommy! Your pendent is shinning!" Varie pointed out.

    "Yes! We are getting close." Hitomi said excitely.

    "Close to where?" Ask the twins.

    "I don't know." She replied.

    The twins sweat-dropped and feel onto the muddy ground with their little legs sticking up to the sky.

    "Hey kids! Look! My pendent is glowing really brightly! It guided us here. There must be something here." cried Hitomi.

    "Hey, you never told us that the pendent guided people." Retorted the ever-wanting-to-start-an-arguement Vron.

    "Hey look! Look at that big pond!" Pointed Varie at a beautiful pond surrounded by the forest.

    Hitomi looked around....she has been here before. Probably not physically but she has seen the place before. In a vision....somewhere......
