Allen Schezear is a very charming young man. He is a really good fighter too he himself was trained by the famous Balgus that trained Van too. He has the Gymelef Scherazad that he controls when fighting too. He is not very popular because he is sort of known as a playboy. He had an affair with King Aston's eldest daughter Princess Marlene that was suppose to be married off to the Duchy of Fried. She bore a son named Prince Chid whos real father is Allen. Allen (I think) loved Hitomi and Millerna (sort of) at the same time. He had very bad memories of his past as a young boy. His father went away in search of the secret of Atlantis and his mother died of saddness when his little sister Celena was kidnnaped. He and Van are always in some sort of competition, they both like or love Hitomi. Later after the Great War it was proven that Van was a better fighter than him. Later Van and Allen became best friends.
Ps. In my opinion, I don't really like this guy. He annoys me constantly in the Escaflowne series! I must say that I don't like him and you must be careful of this kind of guy. The charm they posses is strong.
