Well my time was up and it was time to face up to Spike Steele, after him running away to another state to avoid me the last inhouse it was finally me vs him.
Spike gained control early in the match, after a few reversals and counter moves, until he gave me the first chop of the match and damn did it hurt. This was followed with an attempted Irish whip to the ropes which i countered, and went for a clothesline which Spike ducked under. I then gave Spike an attempted hiptoss, which he countered and then was countered again by me, throwing Spike to the outside. I followed this up with a cross body to Spike who was not really with it on the outside.
At this point i regained control, giving Spike a scoop slam to the outside, followed up by a hanging Suplex on the inside, then a sidewalk slam. Spike regained control after this again with a spine buster, followed by a clothesline.
Spike then folishly whipped me to the turnbuckle only to meet my boot :-D. I tried a Double Axe handle on Spike at this point however Spikes UWA training must have paid off, as he caught me and 'knackered' me on the top rope, followed by a dropkick from the top turn buckle. Spike was back in control again, kicking me as i re-entered the ring and the giving me a few more moves before i gave him a few elbows to the gut followed by a few punches to knock him onto the ropes.
I was going for a clothesline but Spike tossed me clean over the top rope, altho i managed to hold on and come back up to punch him only to be met with his forearm, followed by a headbutt to the gut. Spike went for a sunset flip to the outside but i was able to hold on and leave him careening to the floor :-). At this point i realised i had to take drastic measures to get Spike down so i gave him a Swanton Plancha which took him (and myself) to the floor. I took it upon myself to respond to the crowd and deliver another scoopslam and legdrop to Spike. After rolling Spike back into the ring i whipped him into the turnbuckle, and followed up with a couple of monkey flips a few pins and etc, until Spike finally somehow got me into a waist lock and gave me his patented 5 German Suplexs... in a ROW!
Now this was over... almost, i kicked out soon before 3, at which point Spike went for an alternate finisher, his diving headbutt. Which connected and then he went for the 3 count again. However i managed again to kick out a split second before 3 :-D. Spike was getting pissed off at this point and got me ready for another german suplex which i managed to elbow his head and avaoid until he forearmed me in the back and rammed me into the turnbuckle. Spike tried to roll me up but the momentum he gained i used against him and managed to roll him up for the 1... 2... 3...
I had beaten Spike in the biggest shock win of my wrestling career so far, Spike was pretty pissed of tho, but i did it... i beat Spike Steele
