Over five seasons, only one member of the original cast remained on Sliders. Remmy! The first person to go was Wade, then the Professor. Maggie was taken on, and then, later on Colin was introduced to the show. Finally the original Quinn (Jerry O'Connell) disappeared and everyone had to settle for a double that didn't look like him. Another woman was added (I currently haven't watched an episode with her in it, I don't know her name). The first three season were great, and the fourth had it's own little wonderful surprise (Charlie!) but after Jerry left the show just wasn't the same. My parents think it was after the Professor left, it went downhill, but I just LOVE the episodes afterward. My favourite episodes are My Brother's Keeper, and Oh Brother, Where Art Thou. |
