Featured Team of the Week:
The Philadelphia Demons

By: Alex Winter

The player was Antonio Camarena.

The Philadelphia Demons have had a rough season this year, entering the all-star break with 33 wins. They have gone under expectations of a dominant lead for the 3rd spot in the Northeast and actually are 6 back of that position by the New York Bombers. The whole team has become tired and not really able to perform in the way that Bryan Svec had hoped at the beginning of the year. The oddity is that they have finished very poorly at home, but very respectable on the road at 22-24. They have been very poor with the bat, having only a .252 average and being below Indiana, Tampa, and Atlanta in that crucial category. They have been recieving less and less fans at home, but more and more on the road. A team can not succeed with only being good on the road. Philly should rebound to a respectable record in the 2nd half, but all the people in Philly are hanging their heads, just waiting for the year when they finally make the playoffs.
