| Roster Mickey Bentley Eric Johnson Dan Leppla John Hunt Max Outsen Team Headlines The weather indicated the Rangers' play on Wednesday--slippery and mushy--aganist the Cardinals. The Rangers surrendered 23 runs. Both Dan Leppla and Eric Johnson struggled on the mound. Dan Leppla hit his second homerun of the season (T-1st) but also struck out 6 times of his 10 at bats. Rangers are now 1-3. Hitting wouldn't be easy aganist the #1 pitcher in the league--Tom Ervolino. The Rangers struck out 16 times out of 18 outs. Another great outing by Mickey Bentley could not give the Rangers their second win. Rangers are 1-1. Having to face one of the best pitchers in the league, a win would be hard to come by. But great hitting by the whole Rangers team and great pitching by Mickey Bentley gave them a 7-2 win over the Red Sox. Rangers are 1-0.
