2002 CWBL Championship
August 26, 2002, Ricci Field It was a beautiful day, sunny skies with a slight breeze. A wonderful day to play wiffle ball. A cinderella story was awaiting for the Mets. With only a two-man roster, a 2-7 season record, and upsetting the Pirates in the NLCS, the Mets were on thier way. But they had to face the ALCS Champions, the Yankees, lead by the number two pitcher in the AL, Joe Mazzarese, who was the winner of the Best pitch award. The game started at 2:05, with approximately 20 people looking on, the Yankees took the field, with Joe Mazzarese on the mound. The game raged back and forth, with big hits, great pitching, and close calls. A close call at secong base, ended the inning and costing the Mets two runs. A small argument came at home plate, but the Mets kept thier "cool". With a five run lead going into the last inning, things looked good for the Yankees. Joe Mazzarese, looking as good as he had been all year, finished the game, with only nine runs. Final Score: 15-9

Coach's Meeting is a disaster June 26, 2003 The season is almost here! We close in on the last few days before the season. Unfortunally, the coaches meeting schedule on June 26, was a disaster. Nothing was accomplished and half of the coaches did not show. This does not show good things to come for the season. Only one rule was changed - four balls to five for a walk.
