Mission Impossible 3 actors list
score

Genre: Action
Version Viewed: Movie Theater
English Level: Intermediate
Kid Friendly: Some intense action and language

+
Great action scenes
Great villain played by Hoffman
More "impossible" missions = more fun

-
some of the "sensitive" scenes maybe a little too long

All I gotta say is...
"3" is Mission: Impossible's lucky number
What's it about?
Tom Cruise reprises his role as Ethan Hunt, an American undercover agent. In this sequel, he must recover something called "The Rabbit's Foot" from an evil arms dealer played by Oscar winner Philip Seymour Hoffman. And, by the way, Ethan is going to do something that agents should never do: get married.
Best Performance
Philip Seymour Hoffman - stone cold and unphased
Disappointing Performance
Laurence Fishburne - not really bad, but just not enough
Recommended for...
Mission: Impossible fans, and all fans of action.
My Thoughts
So, I can guess the question that everyone is asking: which Mission movie is the best of the series? Well, I believe the answer depends on the style of movie you like since all three movies were made my different directors, all with a unique style and touch. Although I personally liked elements from the first two movies, the best movie as a whole, in my opinion, is M:i:III. Director J.J. Abrams uses a good blend of action, drama, and romance in this movie as we've seen in his other work (TV series Lost and Alias). I like his direction style and it's no mistake that I'm also a big fan of Alias. Tom Cruise doesn't really introduce anything new in terms of action and stunts, but shows more of an emotional side as he gets married and must choose whether to save his wife's life or his own. Hoffman is an outstanding villain and probably the best in the series. Action fans will definitely be satisfied with a few breathtaking action sequences while fans of the original TV series will not be disappointed as they may have been with John Woo's M:i-2 liberal adaptation. This is a great summer popcorn flick and great for the big screen.
