If you thought I Know What You Did Last Summer was good, then this movie is for you!
What's it about?
Paris Hilton, Elisha Cuthbert, and a group of guys experience car trouble on the way to a football game. They end up in a very small town with it's lone tourist attraction, the House of Wax. Trying to find help, they run into a killer who makes all of his victims into wax sculptures like you see in wax museums.

Die hard Paris Hilton fans and low expectation-having teen horror flick fans.
My Thoughts
Whether or not this is a remake of the 1953 original is up for debate. This movie takes a long time to build up to the killing and once it starts, it's not really worth the wait. Half of the kids aren't even near the House of Wax when they're killed. So I'm thinking, "What's the point?" Paris Hilton doesn't have to stretch far in her role as a dumb blonde, and yes, she does buy the farm (maybe the most satisfying part of the movie). On the positive side, I felt the actual moviemaking and special effects were very well done. However, this is worse than your average teen horror flick and you're better off visiting a real wax museum.
