GREATER AUSTIN ALUMNAE ASSOCIATION AND YOU
The Greater Austin Alumnae Association is committed to providing support and sisterhood beyond the undergraduate years. In the last year, we have proudly established 14 alumnae associations throughout the United States.
Sigma Lambda Gamma became a part of our lives during our undergraduate years. During these years, we became involved in campus life, the community, and lived up to the five principles of our sorority. Now there is an opportunity to continue this involvement after graduation. Through our alumnae association, alumnae members have the chance to continue their commitment and dedication to Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority, Inc.
FLEXIBILITY
An alumnae association is different from an undergraduate chapter in terms of flexibility. Unlike the strict guidelines we faced as undergraduates, we are very flexible and do not require sisters to attend every meeting or every event we organize. In addition, the atmosphere is more relaxed and is not focused on events.
The association is a support group and our meetings are a fun place to unwind, vent your frustrations, or simply chat with Sisters about how life is going.
GRADUATE MEMBER PROGRAM
The Greater Austin Alumnae Association is also open to any women that has an interest and dedication to Sigma Lambda Gamma, but who perhaps did not have an opportunity to join Sigma Lambda Gamma during her time as an undergraduate student.
