My Daddy just wanted everyone to know that he is trying to plan for my future. This is a picture of me next to my very first stock purchase. It is one share of Disney stock, Daddy got it for me so I can learn about saving money early in life, he says there is no better tool to your future than the "Power of Time", the longer my money is invested the more it will be worth in the long run.

It took a while from Japan but Daddy got my birth certificate and my Social Security number. That very day he mailed off the paperwork to start my Education IRA. I am very proud of him for looking out for me, that will be one less thing I have to worry about when I get older.

My Daddy has two accounts set up for me... one is at E*Trade and the other is at Buy and Hold, if anyone would like to put money in my holiday cards or just send a contribution he will make sure it gets deposited.

He also says the U.S. Savings bonds would be a good deal for me, if they are cashed while I am going to school they are tax free. Dad says the "I" bonds are the best deal because they adjust the interest rate with inflation. The last time he looked they were making 7.49 percent. If you want to buy me one as a gift you can buy them online at US Bonds, you will just have to talk to Dad to get my information.
