December 25, 2000 - My first Christmas!!!.

December 24, 2000 - Rode Okinawa's big ferris wheel.

December 22, 2000 - 10 months old today!!! We went to Mom and Dad's QA Christmas party and I had my second visit with Santa.

December 16, 2000 - Uncle Craig, Aunt Jennifer and Mic left the island today going to England. Then we went to the CES childrens Christmas party where I sat on Santa's lap for the first time.

December 13, 2000 - Took my first four steps to Daddy.

December 11, 2000 - My first perfect mimic of Dad saying "uht...uht...uht!!".

December 9, 2000 - Had another early Christmas with Uncle Craig, Aunt Jennifer and Mic.

December 5, 2000 - Uncle Mike and Aunt Rita left Okinawa today.

December 3, 2000 - Had my Okinawa pictures taken today, I was all dressed up in a kimono.

December 2, 2000 - OSS childrens Christmas party, Santa was late and I fell asleep. But I woke up that night to watch my first concert... We saw this old band Mom and Dad called "Air Supply"

November 29, 2000 - Merry Christmas!! We had an early Christmas with the Gillettes before they left for California.

November 23, 2000 - Happy Thanksgiving!!! Took my first shower with Mom today and had my first plate of food.

November 21, 2000 - Had my well baby appointment today, I weighed 16 lbs 10 ozs. My head is now 17 3/4 inches. I have dropped to the 15th percentile for weight and height

November 19, 2000 - Went out this morning to help clean the Tomari International Cemetery.

November 16, 2000 - Waved bye bye to Daddy this morning.

November 13, 2000 - Waved bye bye to Uncle Craig today.

November 12, 2000 - Went on a tour to a nearby Kouri Island with the Gillettes. That night we went to the new Seaside Inn for dinner, That is the new restaurant that sits on the water at the marina. Shelby said the words "ma ma" tonight.

November 11, 2000 - Had our Christmas photo's taken today.

November 3, 2000 - We went to the Okinawa City International Festival where they have the tug-of-war outside of gate 2. Mic camped over at the house that night too.

October 31, 2000 - Happy Halloween!!! I went dressed as a cute little white bunny.

October 29, 2000 - Spent the day with the Adams while Mom and Dad went on the battle sites tour.

October 28, 2000 - I sat in the pumkin patch and ate straw while Mom and Dad took my picture. After that we had a butterfly painted on the side of my face. Then we went home and I helped carve my first pumpkin.

October 21, 2000 - We went on our first camping trip to Okuma this weekend.

October 17, 2000 - Chowing on my first pears today.

October 15, 2000 - I hung out with the Gillettes this morning.

October 12, 2000 - Ate my first plums today... mmmmmmm.

October 9, 2000 - Today we went to the butterfly park, the pineapple factory and the Orion Beer Factory, I even snuck a taste.

October 6, 2000 - I ate peaches today for the first time.

October 3, 2000 - Another Dr appointment, I weighed 15 lbs 12 ozs.

September 30, 2000 - My second trip to the pool with the Adams.

September 26, 2000 - I got to body paint at school with the other kids today.

September 17, 2000 - I stayed with the Adams all morning today.

September 16, 2000 - Mom took some 7 month photo's and some black and white pictures too.

September 10, 2000 - I pulled myself up on the laundry basket and on the side of the tub.

September 9, 2000 - I am crawling for real now.

September 6, 2000 - One more checkup... I weighed 15 bs 7 ozs.

September 5, 2000 - Checkup on rash with Dr Lacunza.

September 4, 2000 - Had to go to the ER for a bad diaper rash.

September 3, 2000 - We went to Yoshi's for sushi and took pictures in the garden museum.

September 2, 2000 - Drank my first white grape juice and ate prunes.

August 31, 2000 - Added peas to my list of foods.

August 30, 2000 - Made a couple moves crawling in daycare.

August 26, 2000 - I had my first Arrow Root cookie, I gummed on it til it was mush and I loved it.

August 25, 2000 - Had my 6 month portraits taken and we had our first family portraits taken.

August 24, 2000 - My 6 month appointment, I was 25 3/4 inches weighing 14 lbs 15 oz. my head was 16 3/4 inches and I got 4 shots. I added green beans to my list of foods today also.

August 21, 2000 - Today I started my transition into another room in daycare.

August 20, 2000 - My first time in the ocean, Mom and Dad took me to the Kadena Marina.

August 19, 2000 - Mom and Dad took me to get my ears pierced today.

August 16, 2000 - Added sweet potatoes to my list of foods.

August 11, 2000 - I must have been really tired because I slept all night without stirring... but I don't think that will happen very often.

August 8, 2000 - I rolled over front to back on my own.

August 7 - 8, 2000 - My first typhoon!!! We all stayed home for Typhoon Jelawat.

August 6, 2000 - Sitting by myself for 20 to 30 minutes now.

August 5, 2000 - Went to the pool for the first time today, Mom put me in a giant life vest and I floated around a bit.

August 3, 2000 - I ate carrots for the first time, I gave a shiver at first but I really enjoyed them.

August 1, 2000 - I sat up by myself for over 10 minutes today.

July 29, 2000 - Daddy came home today, I was very excited to see him!!

July 24, 2000 - I was not feeling well today, at my doctor appointment I was 25" long, weighing 13 lbs 12 oz. Tonight Uncle Mike sat for me for the first time by himself, he was really brave.

July 21, 2000 - I get very excited about things now-a-days. I love to laugh at Michaela and play bashfull with Dad. I can scoot around the floor on my back and in my crib. I am also now sleeping in my bed all night (I am almost too big for my bassinet now)

July 21, 2000 - I started sitting up by myself for short periods of time.

July 20, 2000 - I ate my first entire bowl of cerial at home tonight.

July 17, 2000 - Daddy left for his TDY to Korea while President Clinton was here for the G8 Summit.

Week of July 10, 2000 - I found my feet, rolled over and started eating cerial from a bowl at school.

July 4, 2000 - I watched my first fireworks today with Mom and Dad, we watched them from up on the hill a short drive from the house.

July 3, 2000 - I went on my first boat ride today in a glass bottom boat. I also did my first assisted roll from back to front.

July 1, 2000 - I got a cool entertainment center today. I only like it for about 10 or 15 minutes at a time so far.

June 30, 2000 - I had an appointment today and weighed 12 lbs 15 oz.

June 27, 2000 - I started putting my binky into my mouth by myself.

June 16, 2000 - I had another appointment today because I was breathing funny last night and I started my fever back up again... I can be quite the handfull when I want to be.

June 15, 2000 - I had my follow-up today. I thought I felt better at the doctors I weighed 12 lbs 6 ozs.

June 14, 2000 - I had to leave daycare early today because I was running a fever. At the doctors I weighed 12 lbs 8 ozs and 23 1/4 inches long. Tonight I gave Daddy a big laugh while I was on the changing table, I am so cute!!!

June 9, 2000 - I ate my first bottle of formula today.

May 30, 2000 - Today I had a 14 week appointment. Weighed 11 lbs 12 ozs and I am now 23 1/4 inches long.

May 29, 2000 - Today I had rice in my bottle for the first time... it didn't make me sleep through the night but it tasted pretty good.

May 15, 2000 - This week I have discovered my tounge and started drooling a lot.

May 7, 2000 - Tonight I shared my first giggle with Mom and Dad.

Apr 29, 2000 - Today Mom and Dad took pictures of my smiles, I had my first park trip and Mom took me down my first slide.

Apr 25, 2000 - Today was a follow-up appointment for me being sick, they said I looked really good!! I weighed in at 9 lbs 12 ozs and 22 inches long.

Apr 25, 2000 - Today I had portraits taken at school

Apr 21, 2000 - Back to the hospital again for my 2 month appointment. I am still 22 inches long weighing 9 lbs 8 ozs. I also got my first set of shots today, there was 4 of them I got 2 in each leg, Daddy had to hold me while they gave them to me cause Mommy didn't like it at all.

Apr 24, 2000 - I am so cute... I had my first small laugh today and I started "Gaa'ing" too.

Apr 21, 2000 - I gave Mom and Dad my first smile today, one can't help but smile with those two making faces at me.

Apr 20, 2000 - Today was my follow-up appointment for being sick. I weighed 9 lbs 9ozs and 22 inches.

Apr 16 - 19, 2000 - This evening, Apr 16, I got pretty sick, Mom and Dad took me into the emergency room. From there I was hospitalized and they kept me for a few days. They said I had Viral Bronciolitus.
