4. Establish diplomacy as the basis of foreign policy, using military intervention ONLY as a last resort.
5. Advocate for responsible fiscal policy including budget total, what it is spent on, taxation, and government borrowing.
6. Champion equal opportunity and equal protection under the law.
7. Expose hypocrisy among those in positions of power.
We are the future voters, taxpayers, and leaders of America. We are the ones who will pay off the current deficit, staff the Iraqi occupation and other future military actions, and begin the wealth accumulation period of our lives without the promise of a secure social safety net. But how can we possibly make a difference without knowing the issues at hand? Bustin' Their CHOPS is a non-profit organizatoin dedicated to enlightenment and activism on issues that are important to us - teens and young adults. We are the future....and with Bustin' Their CHOPS, it looks bright. We pledge to make these ideas a reality, even if it means dressing up in weird outfits and holding signs. We can do it!
