| Sleepy Eddie is a four piece Rock/Hardcore/Emo band from Overland Park, KS. Their sound is similar to Thrice, Glassjaw, Foo Fighters, and The Juliana Theory. They were signed onto Ragemore Records in the summer of 2003, under the direction of Jesse Atwell (owner of Ragemore). High energy rock music, with catchy and emotional lyrics and melodies. | Riley Powell, lead vocals and guitarist, has been with the band ever since the beginning. Younger brother to Adam (also guitarist and vocalist); Riley brings his emotional lyrics and a great energy to both live shows and writing. This is his third year of writing and playing music with Sleepy Eddie and he has done nothing but mature both as a performer and a musician ever since. Riley's musical influences range from Simon & Garfunkel and Foo Fighters to Poison the Well, RadioHead, Blindside, and Glassjaw. |
| Adam Powell is the other half of the Powell brother tandum; he is a guitarist and has a growing role as vocalist in the band. Adam also contributes his own songwriting to Sleepy Eddie. The collaborations between the brothers create a unique dynamic which is obvious in both live shows and the writing and recording process. Adam's musical influences include Foo Fighters, Glassjaw, Pete Yorn, Saves the Day, Fenix TX, Thrice, Blindside and many more. |
| Brian joined the band in the fall of 2003. Now with several shows under his belt with the band, Brian fits right in. He is a very talented drummer with a great stage presence and brings a background of various styles to the bands' performance. Brian's musical influences include: The Strokes, Denver Harbor, Maroon 5 and many more. |
| Tesh is the bassist for Sleepy Eddie, he has also been there from the beginning. With his amazing drive for the bands' success and inmistakeable energy on stage, Tesh holds a vital position in the dynamic of the band. Tesh's musical influences include: Incubus, Glassjaw, Coldplay and Orgy to name a few. |
