Player Abilities


Here is were you can find a list of, and discription of the abilities your character may learn. Each ability is learned at a different location and takes a different amount of time to learn. Some are magical and some are not. If they are listed under nonmagical then they are not magical. MP means the amount of Magic Power you must have to use an ability and PL is the amount of power the ability has.

All Second generation abilities can be learned by anyone and anywere unless otherwise noted. These were developed by top scientists accross the world since the war began.

Non-Magical


Focus: This ability allows you to focus on who or what you are fighting. It will add 10% to your Total power level. Learned only in Mordor. Takes 1 week to learn.

Rage: This is an ability that helps you channel all your rage and anger into a battle. It will add 1000 to your total power level. Learned only in the next dimension. Takes 1 week to learn.

Burst of Speed: This ability helps you to increase your speed as needed but it lowers your hit points when used. This ability will help you do things such as escape from some battles, catch a fleeing opponent and faster travel. Location learned is Gondor. Takes 7 days to learn.

Swim: This ability allows you to swim underwater. Takes 7 days to learn. Only learned on Tolfalas in Belfalas.

Pilot Ship: This ability teaches what you need to know in order to pilot any form of ship includeing the Airship. Takes 4 days to learn, only learned in Erador and Belfalas.

Steel: This ability teaches much of what you will need to know in order to become a thief. It is the only way to steal something from someone without fighting them. Takes 7 days to leanr, only learned in mordor.

Marksmanship: This ability will add 1000 to your powerlevel when useing a bow of any type. Takes 7 days to learn, only learned in Rovanion.

Swordsmanship: Same as marksmanship only with any kind of sword. Takes 7 days to learn, only learned in Rhun.

Power Up: At most times a character is relaxed and not 100% ready to jump into battle. This ability allows a character to reach full power from a relaxed state very quickly. This is usefull when ambushed. Takes 5 days to learn. Learned only in Rohan.

Blacksmith: This ability allows players to create nomagical weapons. Depending on the weapon will determine cost for materials and time to make. Takes 6 days to learn only learned in Rhun.

Meditate: Slightly increases PL before a battle. Takes 3 days to learn. May be learned anywere.

Battle Frenzy: Causes a player to forget entirely about defense and go on an all-out attack. Takes 4 days to learn, may be learned anywere.

Regeneration: Allows a player to regrow severed limbs. Takes 7 days to learn, can be learned anywere.

Arcane Denial: Allows player to counter a powerful spell. Takes 7 days to learn. Must know Counter Spell to use. Only learned in The Next Dimension.

Counter Spell: Counter a low power enemy ability. Takes 4 days to learn only learned in The Next Dimension.

Transmutation: This ability increases muscle mass to the top possible limit for the current transformation. Takes 7 days to learn only learned in Rohan.

Develope New Ability: This ability allows a player to try to develope a new ability not listed here over time. Takes 7 days to learn only learned in Rovanion.

Beast Tamer: This ability allows a player to focus 100% on developeing summoned creatures as opposed to themselves. They can focus on one creature or more if they choose. While this ability is being used a player will gain 0 PL but the PL of his/her creatures will raise as though they were a player. This ability takes 4 days to learn and is only learned in Rovainion.

Tech Mastery: this ability allows the player to use any kind of ancsetral technology. Takes 4 days to learn only learned from the Ancestral.

Fussion: this ability allows the player to fuse with other characters who agree to the fussion, the result is a single being with a combained powerlevel of the two beings.

 

Magical


Fireball: This ability allows you to create a fireball and shoot it from your hands. Takes 5 days to learn only learned in Gondor.

Pyroblast: This ability allows you to send a stream of fire from your hands. Takes 7 days to learn only learned in Gondor.

Kindle: This ability allows you to start a fire in the wilderness. Takes 2 days to learn can be learned anywere.

Boil: This ability can be used to decontaminate water, kill aquatic beings and it can be used to boil the blood of enemies. Takes 7 days to learn can be learned anywere.

Searing Touch: This ability allows you to damage opponents with a single touch. Takes 5 days to learn can be learned anywere.

Heat Stroke: Causes an opponent to become disoriented and sick. Takes 7 days to learn only learned in Gondor.

Cone of Flame: Fires a cone of flame from hand which damages more opponents than pyroblast. Takes 9 days to learn only learned in Gondor.

Lava Storm: This ability causes the ground to open and spit lava into the sky which the user is imune to. Takes 5 days to learn only learned in Gondor.

Flare: Flare causes a large amount of heat to be generated from the body of the caster damageing anyone who comes near it. Takes 4 days to learn can be learned anywere.

Incinerate: Causes an emense amount of heat to rise from the ground bellow an opponent which reduces weaker beings to ash. Takes 7 days to learn only learned in Gondor.

Gaseous Form: Enables a player to turn there body into a gaseous state. Players may not be hurt in this form and may not hurt others in this form. Takes 7 days to learn only learned in Belfalas.

Winter's Grasp: Causes the area around a battle to freeze. Takes 5 days to learn only learned in Belfalas.

Fog: This ability makes a fog apear covering the battle field. This can be used to confuse enemies. Takes 5 days to learn only learned in Belfalas.

Evaporate: Dispells anything that's 100% water. IE: fog, ponds, ice ect. Takes 7 days to learn only learned in Belfalas.

Hydroblast: Players use this to fire a stream of water from thier hands. Takes 5 days to learn may only be learned in Belfalas.

Aftershock: This ability allows a player to enhance another ability by produceing a shockwave after the other abilities affects have taken place. Takes 7 days to learn only learned in Rhun.

Stone Rain: This ability will call forth small meteors from the atmosphere to rain down on opponents. Takes 6 days to learn only learned in Rhun.

Meteor: This is the same as stone rain accept it's more powerful. Takes 7 days to learn only learned in Rhun.

Asteroid: Same as meteor accept it calls forth a single Asteroid. This ability is very dangerous as nuclear winter may result from use. Takes 9 days to learn. Location learned is unkown.

Remedy: This ability will cure minor bodily ailments. Takes 4 days to learn only learn in Erador.

Essence Flare: This ability causes a flash of light and sound so intense it overloads the senses of an enemy. Takes 7 days to learn only learned in Erador.

Stun: This ability uses electrictiy to Stun an opponent temporarily. Takes 4 days to learn may be learned anywere.

Lightning Blast: This ability allows a player to shoot a blast of lightning from his/her hands. Takes 5 days to learn only learned in Rovanion.

Thunderbolt: This ability allows a player to call forth lightning from the sky. Takes 7 days to learn only learned in Rovanion.

Rolling Thunder: This ability allows a player to fire a shockwave of energy from thier hands. Takes 9 days to learn only learned in Rovanion.

Chain Lightning: This ability is simillar to lightning blast with two exceptions it's much more powerful and will jump from target to target if there are multiple targets.

Shadowstorm: This ability causes lost souls to shower down from the sky confuseing an opponent. Takes 4 days to learn only learned in Mordor.

Soul Burrn: his ability causes a deep internal feeling of being burned inside to outside like a microwave. Takes 6 days to learn only learned in Mordor.

Soul Rend: A devistateing attck which will render an opponet immobile for a time if successful. Takes 9 days to learn only learned in Mordor.

Terror: This ability instills an uncontrolable fear in an opponent. Takes 6 days to learn only learned in Mordor.

Dark Banashing: This ability is used just before an enemy dies. Instead of going to the next dimension the player will go directly to Hell. Takes 7 days to learn only learned in Mordor.

Wave of Terror: This ability instills such a terror in all opponents that they literally start to tear apart. Takes 10 days to learn only learned in Mordor.

Pendrell Mists: Simillar to fog accept when inhaled buy an opponent burns the lungs. Takes 6 days to learn only learned in Mordor.

Death Spark: This ability allows a player to fire a black orb of energy at an opponent. Takes 5 days to learn only learned in Mordor.

Choking Vines: This ability causes vines to grow rapidly from the ground subdueing an opponent. Takes 6 days to learn may be learned anywere accept Gondor and Mordor.

 

Second Generation Abilities


2X Speed: The user learns how to release their hidden speed and fights twice as fast as normal
(takes 6 days to learn, only learned in Hell.)

2X Strength: The user learns how to release their hidden strength and hits with twice as much strength as normal
(takes 7 days to learn, only learned in Hell.)

Big Blast: By raising two fingers, the user of this attack can create a large explosion that will totally decimate the surrounding area or the ground under an opponent.
(takes 10 days to learn)

Dark Blade: With a swipe of the hand with two fingers extended, it creates an invisible cutting beam that goes a long way. (takes 8 days to learn)

Destructo Disc: It is a flat, disc-shaped energy blade (looks like a saw blade), which can be used to slice through its target when thrown.
(takes 6 days to learn)

Blaster: A blast shot from one finger, which explodes upon impact. And can intimidate enemy by seeing the power in only one of your fingers
(takes 5 days to learn)

Eye Beam: It is basically a double energy beam shot from the eyes
(takes 3 days to learn, only learned in Rohan)

Genocide Attack: A series of energy blasts shot into the air, which seek their targets upon being fired.
(takes 11 days to learn)

Kamehameha: It is an energy blast, which to start is charged up held behind the firer in cupped hands, then brought forward to release a large blast of energy.
(takes 1 week to learn and must be learned in Erador)

Energy Shield: Protects the user from some of the damage caused by attacks by forming an energy barrier around them
(takes 7 days to learn)

Force Blast: An invisible force attack that knocks one's opponent back. It can be shot either from an open palm or from the eyes.
(takes 3 days to learn)

Drill Gunner: A penatrating blast shot from two fingers. It is actually two blasts, one going straight ahead and the other coiling around the first for drilling power. This attack drills through everything it hits, and eventually blows up when it hits something big enough.
(takes 7 days to learn and must be learned in Rhun)

Palm Blast: It powers up a blast over your head with both of yout hands, one palm behind the other, then you bring your hands down in front of you to fire the blast.
(takes 4 days to learn)

Mouth Blast: An energy blast that is shot out of the mouth, leaves an acidic after taste that's just plain nasty.
(takes 3 days to learn)

Rapid Distroyer: The user of this technique can shoot energy bolts continuously from their hands, resulting in somewhat of a "machine-gun" effect.
(takes 8 days to learn)

Zanzoken: The user can move so fast he leaves an after-image, while attacking from another standpoint
(takes 4 days to learn)

Teleportation: This ablility makes you be able to teleport to any place that you have been to before.
(Takes 2 weeks to learn)

3rd Generation Abilities (Sauron's Magic)


These abilities are easier to learn and more powerful than the above abilities but there are a few drawbacks to use these abilities one must not have a weapon in thier hands (Can't be equiped with weapon). They have been found in the dark temple and are still being translated. In other words this is only the tip of the iceburg.

Armor: This spell allows a player to form magical armor over his body.
(Takes 3 days to learn)

Burning Hands: This spell allows the player to send a jet of flame from his/her fingertips. Similar to Pyro blast accept it's easier to learn and requires both hands to be free (No weapons)
(Takes 4 days to learn)

Change Self: This spell can be used to make the player appear either 1 foot taller, 1 foot shorter, fatter, thinner or to look like any other humaniod form. This is used to confuse opponents.
(Takes 5 days to learn)

Chill Touch: This spell attacks the life force of an opponent weakening them. When cast the useres hand gloes blue.
(Takes 2 days to learn)

Color Spray: This spell causes multiple colored lights to shoot ouot from the hands and blind opponents.
(Takes 3 days to learn)

Hold Portal: This ability prevents other players from teleporting directly to the player who knows this ability.
(Takes 4 days to learn)

Magic Missile: This spell when cast causes up to five missiles of magical energy to fly from the casters finger tips.
(Takes 3 days to learn)

Sheild: This spell will cause a sheild to surround the caster.
(Takes 3 days to learn)

Shocking Grasp: This spell charges the casters hand with a large amount of electrical energy. When the caster touches something the energy is released.
(Takes 2 days to learn)

Blur: When this spell is cast, it causes the casters outline of his body to become blurred shifting and wavering.
(Takes 2 days to learn)

Detect: This spell allows a player to detect someone trying to steal, who's invisible, who's hiding and who's approaching the caster.
(Takes 4 days to learn)

ESP: This spell allows the caster to comunicate with anyone, includeing henchmen who are in other countries or people in the next dimension.
(Takes 6 days to learn)

Flaming Sphere: This spell allows the caster to create a burning globe of fire within 10 yards. This will roll in any direction the caster points and will set all flamable objects it touoches on fire.
(Takes 3 days to learn)

Invisibility: This spell causes the player who casts it to become invisible for a few minutes.
(Takes 3 days to learn)

Levitate: This spell causes to caster to rise straight up. This is not like flyin while useing this spell players may only move verticaly and the spell only lasts a few minutes meaning if your very high and it wears of you fall.
(Takes 4 days to learn)

Mirror Image: This spell causes a mirror image of the caster to be created forceing others to guess which one is real.
(Takes 4 days to learn)

Feign Death: This spell allows the caster to appear to be dead for a short period of time.
(Takes 5 days to learn)

Flame Arrow: This spell allows the caster to hurl flameing bolts at opponents.
(Takes 3 days to learn)

Gust of Wind: This spell causes a strond puff of wind to move from the caster in the direction he is faceing.
(Takes 3 days to learn)

Minute Meteor: This spell allows the user to throw minture rock sphere's which upon impact explode covering a 1 foot diameter.
(Takes 4 days to learn)

Enchant Weapon: This spell allows the caster to enchant a weapon with a property (Fire, good, ice, water, etc) which will enhance that weapons damage. This ability may only be learned from Sephiroth.
(Takes 4 days to learn)

Tentacles: This spell forms a varying number of black tentacles below the target, which hold and attack whatever is within the reach of the tentacles.
(Takes 3 days to learn)

Fire Sheild: Thiis spell forms a barrier of fire in front of the caster.
(Takes 2 days to learn)

Hallucinatory Terrain: This spell causes everyone in the area but the caster to see the terrain which surrounds them as something it is not. (plains look like swamps, ect.)
(Takes 4 days to learn)

Ice Storm: This spell when cast causes shards of ice to fall from the sky onto the target area, causeing great damage.
(Takes 5 days to learn)

Plant Growth: When cast this spell causes normal vegetation to grow rapidly and entangle any who happen to be in it's way.
(Takes 3 days to learn)

Shout: When cast the caster can emit much higher levels of sound than normal, which may even shatter weapons if the caster is powerful enough.
(Takes 4 days to learn)

Stoneskin: When cast the users skin greatly hardens and is almost undamageable. The drawback is the harder the skin becomes the more movement becomes restricted.
(Takes 3 days to learn)

Wall of Fire: This spell will cause a wall of fire to rise from the ground and block opponents.
(Takes 3 days to learn)

Wall of Ice: This spell will cause a wall of ice to rise up from the ground blocking opponents.
(Takes 3 days to learn)

Animate Dead: This spell will bring dead men to life during a large battle who will fight till the end of that battle. One in ten of these Undead will remain animated after the battle.
(Takes 5 days to learn)

Avoidance: When cast this causes anything that comes within a foot of the caster to be repelled. This only lasts a few minutes.
(Takes 3 days to learn)

Cloudkill: This spell generates a sickening cloud of poisonuos vapors in an area.
(Takes 3 days to learn)

Cone of Cold: This spell causes a cone shaped "spray" of magic which drains the heat from anything within the cone.
(Takes 3 days to learn)

Conjure Elemental: This spell alows the caster to summon an elemantal of either air, earth, fire, or water until the end of combat. This spell takes a few minutes to cast which leaves him subseptible to attack but once cast the results can be devistateing. There is a 1 in 10 chance the elemental will stay with you after combat.
(Takes 7 days to learn)

Distance Distortion: This spell when cast affects an opponent by makeing thier depth perception go haywire makeing them think things are closer way or farther way than they really are.
(Takes 4 days to learn)

Telekinesis: This spell allows the caster to move objects with thier mind.
(Takes 4 days to learn)

Wall of Force: This ability causes an invisible wall of force to appear and block enemies.
(Takes 3 days to learn)

Wall of Iron: This causes a wall of iron to spring into being which is usefull in closeing of passages or as a basic wall.
(Takes 3 days to learn)

Wall of Stone: This spell causes a wall of stone to come into being which will merge with any adjoining rock surfaces.
(Takes 3 days to learn)

Antimagic Shell: This spell when cast prevents spell from comeing within a shell of energy around the caster, it also prevents the caster from casting any other spells. This only lasts a few minutes.
(Takes 5 days to learn)

Control Weather: This spell enables the caster to change the weather at will.
(Takes 6 days to learn)

Disintegrate: This spell will cause matter to vanish. Includeing non-magcal weapons.
(Takes 5 days to learn)

Lower Water: This spell when cast causes all water within 20 feet to sink away.
(Takes 4 days to learn)

Move Earth: This spell when cast can be used to move the ground as desired by the caster.
(Takes 4 days to learn)

Frigid Globe: When cast a small globe is created. It's temperature is absolute zero and will expand when it comes into contact with water. Anything it touches is instantly frozen. It is not suggested to use this near an ocean.

Cold Ray: When cast a ray of extreme cold shoots out from the casters fingers.
(Takes 3 days to learn)

Globe of Cold: When cast this forms a ball which is cool to the touch but not harmful. When thrown it will shatter upon impact with an ice explosion.
(Takes 3 days to learn)

Duo-Dimension: This spell causes the caster to become 2 dimensional, haveing only height and width, no depth. This is useful for hiding, the effects only last a few minutes.
(Takes 4 days to learn)

Mental Blade: When cast the caster brings into being a sword of pure energy which he weilds with his mind, no hands required. Simillar to the devine soul sword only weaker and the caster may not use weapons.
(Takes 4 dasy to learn)

Reverse Gravity: Like it's name suggests gravity is reversed in the area of the caster and rather everything within it's influence "falls" up. This lasts until the spell expires in which can be shut of by the caster or wears of in a few moments.
(Takes 4 days to learn)

Binding: This spell when cast can bind and hold a any creature, but there is a drawback. The caster cannot do anything will casting the spell and must remain consentrateing on holding the creature in place.
(Takes 3 days to learn)

Sink: This spell causes either the caster or an opponent to sink into the ground.
(Takes 3 days to learn)

Energy Drain: This spell when cats will cause some PL drain from whoever the caster touches. This effect only lasts the battle and all PL will be restored to the rightful owners at the end of battle.
(Takes 4 days to learn)

Time Stop: When cast this spell will stop time for everyone but the caster for a small amount of time.
(Takes 5 days to learn)

Wish: This spell when cast will grant the caster 1 wish. The wish will be granted literally and the caster will be given a penalty. The stronger the wish the larger the penalty. The most common penalty is a decrease in PL.

Summoning Abilities


Dragon: Dragons are one of the most powerful creatures in the RPG. They are primarily based on one element which is the same as the players whichever element the player has the most of when summoned. Dragons start with a PL of 2000 and take 1 week to summon. The ability to summon dragons themselves takes 4 days and can be learned anywere. Dragons can be used to transport characters (only 1 and a limited amount of equuipment). Required MP: 200

Griffin: Griffins are flying creatures with the head and wings of an eagle and the body of a lion. Griffins begin with a PL of 700 and require 3 days to summon. The ability to summon griffins it's self takes 4 days and can be learned anywere. Required MP: 125

Berserker: Berserkers are yet another one of the most powerful creatures summonable. They are humanoid in shape accept the have a hard bone like armor covering thier backs and claw like bones jutting out from thier hands. They also have a very short temper. Berserkers start with a PL: of 1000 and take 4 days to summon. The ability to summon berserkers themselves takes 4 days to learn and may be learned any were. Required MP: 150

Giant: Giants are just that giants. They have a human appearance accept for the fact they are very very big and very stupid. Giants start with a PL: of 1000 and require 4 days to summon. The ability to summon giants themselves takes 4 days to learn and may be learned anywere. Required MP: 150

Rootwater hunter: Hunters are basically simillar to fish with hands for grasping weapons and such. They are specailly designed to be used underwater. Hunters start with a PL: 500 and take 2 days to summon. Hunters must be summoned near water and may only be used near or in water. The ability to summon hunters themselves takes 4 days to learn and may be learned anywere. Required MP: 100

Troll: Trolls are small ugly creatures mostly used for crap jobs that you wouldn't want to risk loseing a better creature doing. Trolls start with a PL: 200 and take 1 day to summon. The ability to summon trolls themselves takes 4 days to learn and may be learned anywere. Required MP: 100

Zombie: Zombies are the bodies of those who have died. They strike fear into those who see them. Zombies start with a PL: 500 and take 2 days to summon. The ability to summon zombies themselves takes 4 days to learn and may be learned anywere. Required MP: 125

Shadow Knight: Shadow Knights are dark warriors. They are trained fighters from another realm. They begin with a PL: 700 and take 3 days to summon. The ability to summon Shadow Knights themselves takes 4 days to learn and may be learned anywere. Required MP: 135

Ogre: Ogres are powerful warriors who rely on brute strength to get the job done. They begin with a PL: 1000 and take 4 days to summon. The ability to summon ogres themselves takes 4 days to learn and may be learned anywere. Required MP: 150

Behemoth: Behemoths are large beasts with a thick coat of fur and 3 long claws protudeing from each of it's limbs. They begin with a PL: 1250 and take 5 days to summon. The ability to summon behemoths themselves takes 4 days to learn and may be learned anywere. Required MP: 175

Hydra: Hydra are dragons minus the wings and adding 2 more heads. Hydras are powerful monsters wich are not to be underestimated. They begin with a PL: 1500 and take 5 days to summon. The ability to summon hydra themselves takes 4 days to learn and may be learned anywere. Required MP: 185

Cerebri: Cerebri are dog like creatures which have three heads. Cerebri begin with a PL: 500 and take 2 days to summon. The ability to summon cerebri themselves takes 4 days to learn and may be learned anywere. Required MP: 125

Skeleten Warrior: Skeleten Warriors are the remains of troops from long ago. They retain thier former weapons. They begin with a PL: 600 and take 3 days to summon. The ability to summon Skeletens themselves takes 4 days to learn and may be learned anywere. Required MP: 100

Naga: Naga are beings with the upper torso of a human, 6 arms, and the snake of a tail. Nagas hold a sword in each of thier 6 hands. Naga have a PL: 700 to start and take 4 days to summon. The ability to summon Naga themselves takes 4 days to learn and may be learned anywere. Required MP: 100

Unicorn: Unicorns look like horses with a long horn. Unicorns are very fast and very adept at useing thier horns. Unicrons have a PL: 1000 to start and take 5 days to summon. The ability to summon unicorns themselves takes 4 days to learn and can be learned anywere. Required MP: 100

Pegasi: Pegasi are winged horses wich are ridden by elf like beings wielding swords. Pegasi have a PL: 700 and take 2 days to summon. The ability to summon pegasi themselves takes 4 days to learn and may be learned anywere. Required MP: 150

Wraith: Wraiths are the restless souls of those who have died. The use an ice could touch and clawed hands to assualt an opponent. Wraiths have a PL: 600 and take 2 days to summon. The ability to summon wraiths themselves takes 4 days to learn and may be learned anywere. Required MP: 150
