My name is Franklin Basheivis Kelley and I am now on the hunt for Kevin Kennedy.
I became interested in him in 1997 when he and I met in a pawn shop in Dayton, OH. He did not speak much, however I do remember him being interested in cheap amplification and looking for a small box called a "909." He interested me in coming to a late night function where he was performing, and since I had no clue what this would be like, I felt a strange need to check it out. He mentioned the words "techno," and "banging" frequently, and I was not prepared for what I witnessed. When I entered the event (paying $15.00 US), I noticed several hundred people dressed unlike any others I'd ever seen, and this music howling through four 12-foot high stacks of speakers. And then, through the haze of synthetic fog and the distracting lazer beams...there he stood. I do not remember much after the first hour of this event, but I do know that it changed my thinking. I felt like I was brainwashed, reprogrammed.
This is the first reason I seek this man.
About two years later, some of the research I was doing for a book led me to recieve some recently declassified documents pertaining to an investigation of a terrorist known as "the sleep engineer." As I looked through my old files I found the large, glossy flyer that was given to me by Kevin Kennedy...low and behold I see the words "sleep engineering" on the flyer under his name.
The mystery unraveled still when I met him again in 1998 in Charlotte, NC. He told me that he was under heavy surveillance in his old location and he needed to 'disappear.' I have not seen him since that day.
Also in late 1999, I was contacted by an organization (whom they were remains anonymous to me) regarding Kevin Kennedy, about the whereabouts of this individual, and asking all of what I knew about Sleep Engineering. At that point, I had not seen nor had contact with him for nearly a year, and I knew nothing. I was badly beaten up and these people made it clear that I would cooperate or lose my life.
During the past two years, I have kept in touch with several organizations who are looking for Kennedy due to his possible affiliation with paramilitary organizations and terrorist factions in SE Asia and around the world. The information contained on this website has come from a combination of these sources, my own fact-finding missions, and from international anti-terrorist organizations. The only problem we have at this point is trying to identify if Kevin Kennedy is truly living a double life or if he is merely just what he has said that he is-a musician.
This is the other reason I seek him.
With everything that has gone on in recent weeks and months...the pressure on me has been unbearable...all of the anti-terrorism networks have been pressing for more information about Kevin and his associates...He still has the upper hand with his stealth and his anonymity, and until he decides to resurface he cannot clear his name, nor help me clear mine.
