Kevin Kennedy is believed to be an employee of sleepengineering, a firm believed to be responsible for audio warfare, mind controlling experiments, and propaganda (diversionary tactics) for various world governments during the late 80's-present. Kevin was hired as Chief Developer of the Sound Warfare and Audio Terrorism division (CODEC-DSWAT) in 1992 due possibly to his talent in developing high performance, low cost destructive audio weapondry.
In 1995, Kevin developed the POWERHOUSE system. What it was thought to be was a bi-polar, stealth, self-destructive device which would cause structures to shake themselves apart within one-hour of activation. These findings and the explanation of the concept was published by Charles Noel of the 21/22 corporation who released it as Borik Acid.
(editor's note: at the present moment, these 'findings and explanations' that are talked about herein come from a respected source who says that this information has been encoded and pressed onto 12-inch pieces of vinyl. The problem is that not one single person has been able to find all of the proper translations of this information-therefore this and all 'translations' remain currently as speculation.)
As the usage of abrasive sound begin to fall under scrutiny from the world's governments, it is known that Kevin was urged to formulate new forms of audio combat that would be less detectable.
Kevin then began the project he entitled The Three Ways, condensing nearly three years of fervent research and development into the three distinctly different and powerful ways to implode structures and to change the will of men. The findings were publicized by Derrick Thompson of XPLOR, a now quiet publications firm somewhere in Detroit.
After 1996, very little was known of the whereabouts of sleepengineering, the Sleep Engineer himself and their slightly-infamous 'scientist' Kevin Kennedy. During 1997-8, Kennedy resurfaced as FBK, now considered the most dangerous and powerful of all of Kevin's pseudonyms. This information was found on a twelve-inch plastic "disk" on a label printed by Frictional Records,entitled FBK-(The) Knobs and Switches, was rumored to be produced by Kennedy. Anthony 'Shake' Shakir has made no clear comment on the matter.
Since this brief sighting, very little has been known about the whereabouts of Kennedy and his research staff. There has been little contact with the outside world, and there are (on occasion) sightings of sleepengineering affiliates...however, nothing has been confirmed at this time. Kennedy has kept a very low profile and even has been known to use assumed personalities such as Hans Demmler-Pieterse to keep people unaware of his existence.
Sadly though, with all of the information provided by authorities, Kevin's trail in the US tends to turn very cold, seeming to have unlimited mobility...no permanent anything to be traced...
Recently, a new faction of sleepengineering has been spotted. CODEC-SWAT has now been turned into the Information Transmission/Transcendence Technologies division, known as IT3. Now using nearly all electronic means, IT3's aim is supposedly to stimulate and to control chemical reactions in the human brain. About 11 tests are known to exist on human subjects (one in particular made the subject request to know if he was "in hell or heaven?"), however, nothing significant has surfaced about the extent of the tests or what purpose it serves...
