My name is Sarah Lynn Coleman and I am the CAPPA Iowa Representative.
I became a doula in 1996, and have worked both privately and in hospitals. I have been a doula for various types of situations including surrogacy, adoptions, and the plain old fashioned family way!
I love being a doula and certified through both DONA and CAPPA. I am a lactation educator and a La Leche League Leader. I also have a bachelor's degree in Health Education, and a nursing background. I love working with the public to promote women's health issues.
I love being of service to CAPPA members. I served as the Illinois representative until I moved here, and enjoyed meeting and helping my fellow childbirth professionals.
