The "Dust Devil" of July 22, 2001 in Henrico
From NBC 12 News and MSNBC
This is a picture, the only I could find, of the damage of the "Dust Devil".
A "Dust Devil" injures three in Henrico.

Three people were injured while shopping on July 22, 2001. Authorities say it looks like high winds are to blame. The strong burst was determined to be a "dust devil." It was so forceful that it toppled a shopping cart canopy of the parking lot of the Costco store on West Broad Street. The gusts tossed the metal structure several feet across the Costco parking lot. Then dropped it on seven vehicles.

Three people were injured when it blew over. They reported mainly just cuts and bruises. The injured were taken to nearby hospitals. Damage to several vehicles was reported to be substantial.
